Position Overview

The Irrigation Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all irrigation projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and meet the highest quality standards. This role involves managing project schedules, supervising installation and maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Irrigation Production Manager collaborates with clients to understand their irrigation needs and works closely with internal teams to deliver solutions that satisfy those requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Irrigation Projects: Manage all irrigation projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate irrigation technicians and field staff by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and training.
  • System Management: Manage the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate equipment and material needs for projects, managing inventory and procuring supplies as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their irrigation needs, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in horticulture, landscaping, or related field preferred.
  • TCEQ Licensed Irrigator preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Irrigation installation and maintenance.
  •  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tools, and equipment.
